I don't think anything is wrong with the drive in by MBP, but it won't play this dvd I rented. Maybe something to do with the plastic **** they stick on the discs (quite sloppily)? I don't know. The weird thing was the drive made a beeping noise while attempting to read the disc. It didn't sound like typical dvd drive noises to me, I thought it was music at first actually.

I know the drive works because I popped another movie in and it's playing fine. Maybe no one will care, but I thought it was strange.
