Weird blank media issue 1.25 PB

Hey all went to burn a CDR last night, inserted it into the drive heard it spinning but it never showed up on the desktop or in itunes. Before I updated to panther I rememver clearly having an icon appear on the desktop. Toast however recognized it fine and let me burn both a data cd and an audio cd. Weird, any ideas?

did you check your CD/DVD preferences... it might be set to "Do Nothing"

Hah I feel like a retard they were set to ignore! thanks man. Weird though maybe got changed when I installed panther over jaguar cause they were fine in jaguar.
