Weird blue ball...slow yahooo

For the past week I've noticed whenever I use my yahoo basic mail account it seems really slow loading. Also, when I click on a message or whatnot, a little solid blue ball appears, then sometimes it changes into the common multicolored spinning ball. All other sites and such load just fine.
Any known issues of late with yahoo mail? ANy suggestions?

Which browser you using? Safari?

Have you tried temporarily using another to see if that alleviates the problem?

No I haven't . I like Safari and am afraid to install another.
