This is on a Macbook pro from 07, 2.16 dual core

Sometimes Windows 7 will boot to a black screen and then nothing. Have to hard reset and then it will boot up fine. Also, randomly adjusting the brightness will cause 7 to reboot immediately. I can't really find any specific reason but it does seem to be happening a little more often. Bootcamp is the latest version under Snow Leopard and all drivers / 7 software is up to date. Any idea's? Video card drivers maybe?

Maybe the drivers, and maybe just malfunctioning bootcamp control panel.

Try uninstall + reinstall.

As to rando black screen, does this happen when you haev USB devices attached?

No USB's attached. I will try the reinstall of bootcamp utilities and see if this helps.
