I've noticed boxes around buttons when I go to set a wallpaper and also around the answer and ignore buttons for calls. Not sure why this is happening. I'm not using any theme. Just replaced my lock screen slider using winterboard. Any ideas?

Yes I do.
Think that could be it ?

I'm honestly not sure. I have a feeling it may be some old theme I had but wasn't completely removed. Currently I'm only using it to change my lock screen slider.

Anyone with more info on this?

Edit: I just removed winterboard and the boxes are gone. Reinstalled and they're still gone. Applied the chrome slider that I got from here http://nardoxic.deviantart.com/art/Chrome-Slider-LS-278879014 and now the boxes are back again. Why is the slider affecting the boxes I get for calls and when I set a wallpaper? Maybe other places I haven't noticed.

The chrome slider theme your using for your LS is theme'ing the same element used by that particular screen and a few others. It's currently not possible to theme the background for the slider without affecting it in other places, where the same element is used throughout iOS5.

So there's no way at all to avoid this while using this theme?

Are you using the chrome slider for your lock screen too?
