Weird caps lock problem on log in screen

Hello,

I have a new macbook, 1.3 ghz, on 10.10.3 and I have the following problem:

On the log in screen - and this only happens on the log in screen - the small icon that indicates that the caps lock is on does not follow what the light on the keyboard indicates, and this is a pain to type your password if you use a combination of letters.

Anyone else with this problem? I noticed a post on the apple support communities (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7064495) but could not find anything here..
