If I drop the MBP say a few inches (onto something soft like my lap) whilst its running I can hear a crisp click coming from inside the laptop, happens everytime. What could this be?

Weird clicking from MBP

It's the sudden motion sensor locking the hard drive into place. Perfectly normal. One thing I don't get - why would you drop your computer on purpose?
I did it by accident whilst it was on my lap, I thought something was loose inside so I did it a few more times to see what it was.
