Weird CMD+TAB

I just went to change window using cmd + tab and the thing that pops up to show which program one is switching to looks different to usual, sorry for the odd description just unsure how to describe so i have attached a pic. was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this.

Seems the contrast for the Application Switcher is set to higher than normal.

Did a restart remedy the problem?

I left it over night, and now seems to have sorted itself out
