Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else: I have a series 2 that was working fine, but mid January some functions stopped communicating with my iPhone. Bluetooth still shows as connected, and notifications are relayed through, but most third party apps that rely on communication with a phone are broken, as well as music control buttons when playing on my iPhone (buttons grayed out).

I sent the watch in, and they returned it saying nothing was wrong. Calling Apple support lead to a series of troubleshooting steps, ending with it being diagnosed as a "software issue" and saying to hope for a fix in the next update.

Wanted to check to see if this really is a software thing, since presumably it would have happened to someone else (and it's not exactly a subtle bug)! Otherwise, does anyone know of a way to escalate a support request to reach a real resolution?
