Hi,
For whatever reason, my iPhone does not always show the contacts names, just their number. It is strange, because clearly the contacts number is in my phone, when I go to add it from recent calls, or text messages, it shows the identical number that is already in the contact for them. It happened when I restored iOS 5 and than restored my backup, to try to get better battery life. Any idea why this is happening?
Thanks

Restore and DON'T restore from backup aka set up as a new phone...... That typically fixes most issues.

Ugh, was hoping that was not going to be the cure, not in the mood to lose all my photos :-(

Thanks for the help.

Your photos should be backed up on your computer so unclear how you'll lose them unless no backup?

Yes they are backed up, but if I restore and set up as new phone wont I lose everything? Except what is stored on iCloud.
