I’m an owner of a MacBook Pro 16” from 2019 and have noted that I’ve got a few cracking lines on the screen border. It doesn’t really feel like the screen or the plastic itself has cracked but more the gray underneath itself. Overall it can’t be felt but can easily be seen in good lighting condition.

I worry and wonder about a few thing. I’m normally a person who takes good care of my laptop whereas I’m not sure what is due to the cracking? I’ve never dropped it at all, has always been in a good protective sleeve and doesn’t have other scratches at all in the casing.

What is very weird is that I got two totally similars cracks, whereas the second one to the left haven’t been there as long as the first one and therefore didn’t came simultaneously.

I’ve also been an user of a 2016 13” MacBook Pro and for all the years I’ve never got a crack.

I wonder if other has similar problems and it’s mostly due to the larger laptops because is a larger surface area or what is causing the problem.
