When I go to About This Mac and then select Storage, my SSD is listed as something weird...

"256 GB Solid State Sata - -"

Does anyone have this issue who has a samsung 830 SSD?

lol, might have trash this puppy.

Is the last word that's cut off "Drive" then?

What does it say on other people's about screen? Those who have a retina and those who have a Samsung 830 aftermarket

This is a bug I think with the new mountain lion update for macbook pro and airs 2.0...and on top of that this update also disables TRIM for 3rd party SSDs and won't allow it to be activated via command line...

Sata is a type of interface for connecting host bus adapters to mass storage devices such as hard disk drives and optical drives. Not something weird, maybe just too much info...
