Hey there, I'm new to the forum! :)

So, yesterday I ordered a Verizon iPhone 4 8GB in white from Apple at applestore.com. I received an email saying that my ordered had shipped, and then a couple of hours later I got this email:

Gmail%20-%20Apple%20Store%20-%20Important%20Information%20about%20your%20iPhone%20Activation%20-%20jordanwaynewizzy%40gmail.com.png

I thought it looked kind of suspicious, so I called 1-800-MY-APPLE and the woman I talked to couldn't figure it out either, until she put me on hold and found out that the phone number is in fact an Apple number.

So, I called the number, gave the dude my activation ID...and he was trying to activate my phone before I had (which would disconnect my current line.) I explained to him that I hadn't had the phone yet, and he just said call back when I get it.

I'm kind of worried there's a problem with my order, but the order status page on the Apple website shows it as shipped:

Anyone deal with before and know what the issue might be?
