My daughter just handed me her laptop with an error that I have never seen before...

The computer acts likes it about to boot up but then flashes this error. When I click ok it remains on the white screen. This computer is a White Macbook maybe mid 2008 with a 40gb ssd as the primary and a 500gb as secondary. So it doesnt have a disk drive anymore. She says that it has been flashing that the startup disk is full lately. Please help because she is driving me crazy and eyeing my Ipad now, lol. Thanks, Herb

Do you have an external optical disk drive (ODD) with USB interface and the grey Restore DVD, that came with the MB or the 29/19 USD Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard Upgrade DVD?

Have you tried any of these steps?

Thanks so much. I was able to get it running with your suggestion. I deleted a lot of files, but on the last restart it's still giving the weird error.
