I have a 24" IMac os x. Just recently within the last week I downloaded and installed Adobe Flash Media Encoder 3.1 and at first it worked flawlessly. Now, sometimes, it is not working seemingly at random times because sometimes it works fine and sometimes it doesn't. It seems to develop flashing lines across the preview window for my cam.
At first, I thought it was the flash media encoder that was causing the issue, but now, I'm not sure. Thinking back, whenever I play games that rely heavily on flash, my screen develops pixelated lines across it.
I also, recently upgraded to snow leopard, and for the life of me, I don't remember if those lines happened before the upgrade as well...
I'm wondering if perhaps my video card is going bad...or getting too hot...or perhaps if the flash media encoder is causing its own problems...In all other areas, my Mac is a beautiful thing and operates flawlessly...Does anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks
