So I have a mid 2011 macbook pro 15 inch. The warranty expired last month -__-. It didn't give me any problems till now.

Now when I'm using the computer it randomly freezes and I have to do a hard reboot. But it doesn't reboot right away. The fans turn on the hard-drive turns on and the light turns on for a second or 2. Then it turns off and turns back on continues in a loop like this. It's impossible to get it out of this loop and then eventually it snaps out of the loop the screen turns on, it chimes and starts up for real.

Any idea what this could be?

Thanks

P.S. - I already did a install of Snow Leopard (archive and install) going to format the drive and do a clean install tomorrow.

Went to the apple store they said it was the logic board and they'd replace it for free because I was only 35 days off of warranty. I love apple. :apple:

But they said they have to order the part I forgot to ask but does anyone know how long it might take for the part to arrive?

Thanks
