Weird Google Map Glitch

Had this happen last night while using GPS on 3G. I've been extremely happy with my 3G service and the way Google maps works with the GPS. I never had this happen before though. The whole screen turned that yellowish color than the map slowly drew itself. Oh and during this, notice it says edge. It switched back to 3G about a minute later.

You just ran out of signal for a bit - it's not a problem, it just tried to zoom in and had nothing to load.
