Weird Google Maps Glitch on iPhone 3GS.

I live on Long Island and when I open maps it locates me [which it should], but then when I type in one of my Bookmarked locations from NYC, Google Maps zooms alllll the way out and shows all the continents instead of just moving over from Long Island to NYC.

So I have to zoom alllll the way in.

And it wasn't always like this, idk what's going on.

does it do this when you manually type in a location instead of getting it from the bookmarks?

When I type in something that isn't in Bookmarks it doesn't have the problem, which is weird.

So the problem only exists with Bookmarks and not when something I type in isn't in Bookmarks.

Same problem on my 3GS... but not on my wife's 3G.
