Weird graphics glitch after updating to iPad OS14

I have an iPad Pro (2020).
After updating to iPad OS 14. (14.0.1) - I am seeing really strange graphic issues.

here is what I am seeing:

1. Widgets Resize and become smaller
2. App folders change size and become smaller
3. weird flickering inside of app folders. These are folders on the home screen that contain apps. they flicker.

anyone seeing this stuff?

I've been occasionally seeing a folder I have for Apple apps flicker, but that's the only one. I haven't noticed app folders being different sizes but in iOS/iPadOS 14 I noticed a couple of apps being different sizes, notably Word, but in 14.01 that seems to be resolved.
