I'm having a weird issue on my 2009 iMac. Sometimes pixels will become discolored on my screen and stay that way at different intervals. Sometimes it takes a restart to fix it, sometimes just switching spaces. At first i thought maybe the graphics card was going bad on it but now i'm not sure because it's not stuck on that specific part of the screen no matter which space or application i go to.
For example: http://d.pr/SWdc This screenshot shows green and red pixels on the part of the screen i put an arrow to. Yet, if i go to exposé or move an application to that spot, it disappears. It's only on the actually desktop wallpaper itself, it isn't static to that location on the screen. So that kind of makes me think it isn't bad pixels or the graphics card. I didn't notice it do that very often (if at all) until Lion. Is it hardware related or possibly a software glitch of some kind? Thanks.
