so maybe a month back, my computer was really slow (even though i have 4 gb memory). It was so slow, that the computer wouldn't boot up after i waited for half an hour. Yet this was after i used my computer for a while, so it was hot. I had a report due the next day (it was night) so i took my hard drive out and put it in a plastic bag and then into our fridge. I also checked that the ram was properly connected into their bays (as an aside: i was so thankful that apple designed their computers well). After 30 or so mins, i put everything back in and the computer booted up perfectly (like 45 sec).

So long story short, i don't know if my hard drive is messed up or if the ram was just loose. Any ideas? - my macbook has been working fine for the past month, but i really don't want something like that to happen again - and i doubt the store will just give me a new hard drive....

(btw, i just bought applecare cuz i don't trust any apple hardware anymore - i had to take my screen in to be fixed too...)
**Thx for the advice in advance!
