Weird.....ibook suddenly broke............verizon iphone4, sn0wbreeze jailbroke awhile back............ibook worked great.....i just downloaded the latest james rollins ebook and was very excited to read it tonight but now none of my purchased ibooks work..........anyone else had this issue? I tried a reboot. I don't want to have to backup, restore, re-jailbreak w/ the latest sn0wbreeze and then install all my crap again........just to read an ebook only release...........UGH. This is why I hate apple sometimes..................

iBooks attempts to run unsigned code when it's launched. If the code runs, iBooks won't open because the device is jailbroken. It's a bit of anti-jailbreak code built into iOS.

So is re-jailbreaking with the newest sno0wbreeze the best option? Or, is there another way to view the ebook i bought on itunes?
That is false.
The latest version of pwnage tool and redsnow fixes that JB issue with ibooks.
Not sure about snowbreeze though, I never used it.
The issue is not with the version of iOS, it's with the software used to jailbreak.
Use redsn0w and you wont have a problem.
Its too bad there isn't a stand-alone hack that one could use without having to rejailbreak with sn0wbreeze. The latest sn0wbreeze says it fixes the ibooks issue but the version I had when i jailbroke about a month ago also said it fixed it and it did for awhile, its just something happened recently that re-broke ibooks. I'm verizon of course, 4.2.8 OS
