Weird iCal problem

I am running 10.4.10 and I haven't used iCal much this summer...but I just opened it to prepare for my busy schedule now that teaching and classes start up and I have a big problem!

When I try to enter a time for an event in iCal (in month view) the time shows up as "M:00 PM" and will not let me change the "M" part. This is in the info tab that pops out to the side.

In week view the entire left column (under 2007 heading) shows up as "Sat PM" instead of being divided by time. Same thing under day view.

Huh? Anyone have this issue? What can I do to fix this, I didn't have any problems when I used iCal regularly in May and before.

try deleting (or moving to the desktop) com.apple.iCal.plist then restarting iCal

Thank you for the suggestion, that didn't seem to have any effect.

I tried restarting as well. Any other thoughts?

I finally figured out the problem.

When I customized the date and time in the menu bar (via the international tab under system preferences) it messed up the time and dates in iCal. Restoring the date and time to default fixed the problem!
