iPad Weird iOS 11 issue on my iPad Air 2

On my iPad Air 2 in portrait mode if I try to redeem a code in the App Store the keyboard covers that field. Anyone else see similar behavior? I'm asking because Apple Support is telling me to reset my iPad back to factory defaults.

I see the same thing on my Air 2 - in portrait mode, the keyboard covers the entry field. Definitely not something I would even remotely consider a reset for. (Field is not covered in landscape mode).
