I'm running the 2.2.1 firmware. Not sure if this issue start with that update or before or what the deal is..
Basically battery drains at a very high rate with my brightness turned down, wifi off, bluetooth off, and ssh off. The phone is jailbroken and unlocked. After about 15-20 minutes the battery will be at 85-90% with nothing going on other than the screen being on.
Now if I started to do anything internet related (with Edge, no Wifi), the phone will die completely. If I wait maybe 20-30 minutes, and then turn the phone back on, it'll show maybe 50% battery, almost like it recharges itself.
I thought it may be something I had installed, but I did complete restore on the phone and still have the same issue. I assume the battery is toast for the most party and time for an upgrade, just hoping to hold on a bit longer. Are there any kind of battery testing applications or anything out there? Any tips?
