Weird iphone 4 3g connection problem!

I work in a large office and have underground parking. Every time I go to my car, I usually lose my 3g connection because its underground. Once i re-gain data connection it only shows Edge now. It used to work fine until now. I can get 3g connection back if i reboot my ios, or toggle on and off the edge and 3g data connection from SBsettings.

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm running ios 4.1 on a iPhone 4.
