Weird iPhone glitch?

Today I was texting somebody and noticed that if I sent the message " !!! " on the iPhone, (using one of the happy-face emoticons from the emoji keyboard) then you receive a message back from the person your texting as follows: 浥獳慧攠⁴漠ㄶ〴㜸〸㌷㠠獵捣敥摥搮 .... It works both ways, everytime you text " !!! " using emoji. Does anyone know what this is about? (Or if you speak Chinese, what does it say?)

I just sent it to my wife and got nothing back.

It was with iMessage.

Was it a specific smiley face icon, i mean, there are several. I used the very first one in the top left corner of the first emolji icon page.

PS - Hopefully I didn't just get snookered.

Just tried iMessage, it doesnt work. Only text messages. Tried a few emoticons, They all work. I think there has to be a space between the !!! and the as well.

Basically just getting tricked into doing something you shouldn't do.
