Now I've heard of weird problems with cell phones in general, but this was very strange.

I updated Saturday night to the latest software version for the iPhone and updated my carrier settings. It's not jailbroken. It's your friendly everyday iPhone.

Sunday night I went to place a call, but what was weird was that I called a different person I didn't know, even though the phone said I was calling who I thought I was.

To make matters worse, the person who I called saw my name on their caller ID, but when they answered, this person was not me. It was someone completely different (not 100% sure if it's the same person I ended up talking to).

I tried it out again after five minutes. I called my roomate who was sitting across from me. I dialed his number, my phone made one ringing tone then stopped. His phone continued to ring, with my caller ID on the screen. When he picked up, he got someone different as well, someone who was placing a call (he asked for "Tom"). Very weird.

Has anyone had this happen to them before?
