My isight camera on my macbookpro isn't working so I went onto google and went through the steps on how to possibly fix it.

I went into system profiler and it wasn't there so I tried the SMC reset thing. The isight then showed up in system profiler so I was happy I fixed it so easy, I went and opened photobooth and the camera worked but literally for only one second and then it came up with no camera connected.

I went back to system profiler and it had disappeared..
This happens every time. I can reset the SMC and it will show up in system profiler and stays there but as soon as I go to use the camera it works for one second then says no camera connected and is gone from system profiler. I tried ichat imovie photobooth and skype and the same thing happens with each program so it's definitely not photobooths fault or anything

anyone know how to fix it?

Not all problems can be fixed in software. It's likely either the camera, the logic board, or the cable in between, and I'd start with the camera. If it's under warranty, take it to Apple.
