Hello all, I am having a weird issue with the apple HDMI adapter for my MacBook Pro. I have a 15in 2019 model and have two dongles that both have HDMI slots. The non-apple dongle when I connect my MacBook to a monitor seems to work fine and the colors on the monitor are fine. When I connect the official apple adapter though it tends to blow out whites really badly, like if there is anything white on my screen it is really bright (Also hard to see when shopping online lol). I tried calibrating the display with the adapter, but it didn't help at all. Was just wondering if maybe I got a bad adapter or is this common with the apple adapter. Also my monitor is like 8 years old at this point so that could also be an issue. It is just a typical 1080p 24in Asus monitor.
