So my last phone was a 5c. I just got the 6s Plus yesterday and activated my AT&T service on it. When I did that, the service switched from the 5c to the 6s (obviously), but my wifi is still connected to both phones. Now this is the weird part. I can't turn the 5c off. Meaning literally the screen no longer responds to anything. I can click the home button and the slider comes up to unlock it, but it does not respond to my touch. It has just been sitting there with 1% battery since last night and since both phones are connected to wifi, I am getting email and message notifications on both of them still. The 5c won't die..

Is it normal for a phone to stop reacting to touch once you deactivate the cell service on it? I would think that since it still has wifi, you should still be able to use it. Or does it sound like my screen has gone bad? I intended to give my old phone to my mom so that's why I'm trying to figure out what's going on.
