Im having an issue with sending files to trash bin. When i go to delete a file this message comes up and when i hit the "delete" key it deletes the file without sending them to the trash first.
When i delete files from my external usb drive, the files are sent to the trash.
This just started to happen when i installed 10.6.4 and the security updates along with the trackpad update. Also the same message pops up when i drag any files to the trash.
I thought it might be a permissions issue so i repaired permissions and the issue is still there.
This gets annoying because i sent files to the trash often but only delete them when im sure i don't need them anymore.
Anyone got any ideas why all of the sudden this is happening?
