Weird issues with new 13" MBP + LG 5K

So I just got my new 13" MBP /w TB and LG 5K display setup. Fresh OS from factory (B&H).

I started noticing some sluggish performance every now and then and now the iTunes and Sys Pref icons in the dock don't show their icon. Even after I reboot it snd disconnect it from the LG 5K.

Also sometimes the huge mouse curser gets stuck on the screen, but I can still move my curser around.
