weird iTunes problem

everytime i open itunes it opens to a certain playlist and it sets the volume to a low setting. this isnt that big of a deal, but kind of annoying, so could i please get some help and/or explinations. thanks!

I assume you mean that it resets back to these odd settings after you change them and restart iTunes, right? Have you tried restarting the computer?

It might be a bad preference file, but that's just a slightly-educated guess

yes, it is returning back to old settings of how it was when i closed it at one point, but i didnt change any preferences or anything like that. thats why im confused on why it is doing this...
