Okay here's the deal. Connected my white macbook to my Toshiba LCD using mini dv to dvi> dvi to hdmi. For audio i'm running the 1/8 from macbook to tv audio input. From the TV i'm running audio out to a BOSE 5.1 surround sound. Sound is great on DVD and TV. When i play music from itunes though it sounds terrible. Audio is cutting in and out. It just sounds really weird. I've racked my brain on this one and can't figure it out. Any help would be awesome. Thanks, Trey

Any ideas? I turned off the settings for front row? Still sounds like a weird hall setting?

Why do you go from the MacBook to your TV for audio? Why don't you directly output the MacBook's audio to your AVR?

That's what I'm doing but I hate having to workaround. I wish I could figure out what it's doing?
