iPad Weird keyboard issues in iPad Messages app

iPad Air, iOS 8.1.1 user here...

I've noticed the keyboard tends to act wonky in the Messages app. When I split it, the conversation sometimes vanishes when I send a message. When I dock it at the bottom again, sometimes it refuses to scroll up to the last message. I have to hide and re-show the keyboard to do so.

This is insanely aggravating! I'm pulling out my phone constantly when using my iPad just to avoid the Messages app and weird keyboard behavior!

Anyone else seeing this? I want to know if it's just me, so that if it is I can wipe the iPad and start fresh to fix it.

Me too!

I have been too lazy to post a description of what has been happening since I upgraded to iOS 8, but both my iPads have been doing exactly what you described. Neither 8.1.1 or 8.1.2 fixed the problem.
