Weird line across Photo - Lightroom to CS4

I'm editing this photo because I want to try and remove the red part at the bottom right section. When I open it in CS4 ( from LR ) it asks me if I want to use the embedded profile or select a different one. If I choose to use the embedded option which is ProPhoto RGB ( I heard this is the best color space ) then I get a weird line ( see below ). If I chose to convert the colors to the working space I still get the weird line. If I choose to discard the embedded profile then I don't get he line but the Photo looks awful...

Any Ideas ?

( I did change come settings in CS4 color options but these are only to the ' industry standard' settings.

I just though I should try another Photo... it's only this Photo that has the weird line...
