weird Lion booting screen size

Recently after I upgraded my 17'' macbook pro (early 2011) to Lion, I found that every time I restart Lion, the booting screen (the one with the Apple logo) will be some weird lower resolution first, 5 seconds later it changed back to 1920*1200 and then everything is ok.

Do you guys know if this is a bug or sth?

I know it's been a long time since this post but i have the same problem as well, can't find anything on the internet on how to solve this. Has anybody resolved this issue? Thanks
