Hi I'm having problems 'reading' files on my windows xp pc's 500gb ntfs formatted hdd (wd sata2) from my macbook pro with (osx tiger, up-to-date). It's weird as I can see the folders, but there's nothing inside them. While my 200gb sata1 hdd (segate) I can read that fine, which is also formatted in ntfs

so right now after I download something I'm having to move it to my 200gb hdd to view/watch (eg. movies), which is very annoying. Given that both are sata hdd's, both formatted in ntfs (ver 3.1 according to partition magic 8), i dont see why I can't see the files on my 500gb hdd.

I also tried to format a portion of my 500gb back to fat32, but partition magic 8 wouldn't allow me to do that. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
