Never seen this- only on my admin account, not my wife's standard acc't.
Sierra, 10.12.6, Safari 12.0 on my 5,2 Pro:

If a Safari link is in a folder, whether on my SSD system drive or HHD data, clicking on it will close the folder, blank out my desktop momentarily, or crash Finder. I cannot click to activate the link, nor even click/hold to change the link's name. I can only CNTRL/hold to bring up the menu to “open”,etc...
If the link is on my desktop, no problem.

I started up on my backup disk, same thing. Restarted, cleared Safari History, checked Preferences for Safari and Finder.
I need help!
