Weird memory issue with my mac... check out this video

Ok I am writing writing, I have a few word documents open. and this happens... Check out the video...

The writing of leaks on to the screen... sometimes the icons would float over the word document... anyone know what's going on???? My air, 2gb with 1.86ghz never did this my the MPB has 4gb and 2.56ghz processor.

This seems more like a hiccup in the graphic sub system than with the memory, or why do you suspect the memory to be source of this problem?


Has a restart or the repairing of permissions helped, or the reset of the SMC?

Oh I was just guessing about the memory (not exactly a computer expert). restarting doesn't fix it. but I'll try your suggestions and see if it pops up.

Do you still have warranty?

And does it only happen with one application, or does it happen with more?

Hmmm no?? I have quicksilver, googlenotifier... no coolbook or anything like that. What do you mean hacks by the way?

I still have warranty...

I have 10.6.6 installed.
