So we've been watching the last season of a series and come up to Episode 14. Apple TV out of the blue prompts us to download Hulu as the only way to watch it despite us having watched all previous episodes and having purchased the season through Apple. But it won't play unless we subscribe to and view via Hulu. This started two days ago. Now when I check my available downloads on the Apple TV app on any of my devices it shows Episode 14 missing.

Spent 15 minutes on line with Apple and they are stumped. Best they could do is offer to refund me the money. But I still can't access the missing episode anywhere.

Can you not access it by opening up the TV Shows app, go to purchased and then find that episode under that boxset?
Sometimes the up next in the ATV app doesn’t always link up to the next episode in your library so you have to go to it manually.
What boxset is it by the way?

No, that's the weird thing. That episode is now entire missing whether I use the TV shows app on my computer or other devices and when I try to access on the Apple TV4K. It just disappeared. And Apple had no explanation for why it suddenly prompted me to install Hulu.

It prompts Hulu because it can’t find that episode available on the server so searches other vendors instead.
I’m intrigued as to what it is now, what show is it and what episode?
I’ll have a look and see if it’s showing in the store.

It is not showing up in the iTunes store for me either.

A lot of times this happens when they have found an issue with the file, or they are replacing it for some reason. It will probably show up again in a day or two.
