Weird mouse cursor, MBP Yosemite

Anybody know what this might be? This only happens around the mouse cursor when I hover an element, the rest of the machine works as it should. A restart removes the artefacts, and it can take days before it comes again, but it always comes.

This is a new MBP (non retina).
