Hi Guys
I have 2 macbook pro's 1 is the early 2008 model and 1 is the new 2008 model with multitouch. I also have a server running windows 2003 server, this is where the strange problem is occurring.
THE PROBLEM
When i open finder in the new macbook and click on the server down the left hand side it opens it up fine no issues, its like it is an attached usb drive.
however, when i connect to the server with the older macbook, doing the exact same thing as the other one it takes ages to load each shared file and when you are in cover flow view the previews take ages to load?
What could be the problem here, it is really annoying, i am connected to the network via a gigabyte ethernet connection.
hope you gus can help me out
