Weird noise coming from left side of my laptop?

Hey everyone. Just recently I was backing up my computer to my external hard drive and after it finished I noticed when I opened the laptop back up a weird noise was coming from the left side of the keyboard. Almost like a clicking noise. It only does it for a minute or so after opening up the laptop and then I don't hear it again. It doesn't feel hot or anything like that. I'm just wondering if something is wrong with the computer or not.

I got the computer in May of 2011 if that information helps with anything.
