I have been experiencing a new and inexplicable message whenever I try to eject my external drive ever since updating to OS 10.8. I select my two drive partitions on my desktop, I either press CMD+E or I right click>Eject, and then I get this message:

[I have blacked out one of my drive names where it is my name]

The thing is, this drive has only 2 partitions: the one named after myself which holds my media, and then a Time Machine partition. It has always had only 2 partitions. Back under OS 10.7 I never had this problem, I would highlight the 2 drive partitions, press CMD+E, and they would eject without any popups. Ever since updating to 10.8 this has been happening. I didn't reach out for help until now because I assumed an OS update would help but now I'm running 10.8.2 and this is still happening. In my Finder preferences I have all the boxes checked for displaying hard disks, external disks, CDs/DVDs/iPods, and connected servers all on my desktop, and there are no drive icons on my desktop except my internal Macintosh HD and my 2 aforementioned partitions to my external drive. I have double checked with Disk Utility and still no trace of this mysterious 3rd drive or partition:
