So I have a friend who has a new PowerBook Rev. D 1.67 GHZ with 512MB of RAM and Tiger, as well as an Airport Extreme Base Station in their living room. I have a PowerBook Rev. C 1.5 GHZ with 512 MB of RAM and Tiger.

So anyway, the weird part is that when we bring our PowerBooks into her room, her PowerBook's reception pretty much goes dead, whereas mine seems to be more robust. We also set the PowerBooks up outside of my house (in her car) and her PowerBook didn't pick up the Airport Express signal from my room, whereas mine did.

Is there a difference in hardware between the two PowerBooks that could account for this signal reception difference?
