ok, i've been fortunate enough to not have the white spots on the screen nor the uneven backlighting with the new Aluminum PowerBooks. however, a recent "problem" has arised with my laptop. the sleep light (on the latch button for the lid) that goes on when the lid is closed or the computer is sleeping, will now go on while the computer is awake and i am working on it. i understand this isn't a "problem," but more of an annoyance. i've tried resetting the PMU (i don't think i did it correctly) so i'll try again. however, if you have any ideas on how to fix this, please help. could this somehow be a short in the logic board, or something similar?

keyboard

on the apple support page, it says that the keyboard may be the cause of the light (something about the keyboard being too tight). does anyone have confirmation on this?
