So my ATT 3GS completely died. I'm not sure if it's a battery or logic board. With a planned purchase of the upcoming iPhone 5 in about a month, I didn't see a reason to spend money on the thing (which also has a cracked screen) because I also have a first gen iPhone hanging about, which works fine.
I tried restoring from my backup, but it wouldn't go because the first-gen has an incompatible OS. I can understand that. Since I'm only using this phone for at most a month a half (hopefully), I don't need much to get by. I would like to at least migrate my contacts over, either from iCloud, my backup, or my computer's contact list.
Is there an easy way to do this? Believe me, I've searched, but maybe I'm searching the wrong thing.
Also, the SIM import didn't work.
