I am using Tiger and Mail.

I sent two messages which came get from my ISP (Sympatico) Mail Delivery System with the header "Delivery Status Notification Failure". There is no body to the message.

I can get rid of these 2 messages. I have tried everything. When I delete them, they reappear in my in-box either after I switch mailboxes and return to inbox or after I restart mail.

I have tried putting them in the trash and emptying the trash. I have tried deleting them from the trash inbox.

No luck.

Any suggestions?

Update

I moved the 2 messages to my .Mac Deleted Messages.

They have not reappeared in my inbox. But I can't delete them from my .Mac deleted messages now.
